The Air Algérie Spain promotion offers travelers new low-cost flight opportunities between Algeria and Spain, with one-way tickets starting at around 16,000 dinars on routes linking Algiers and Oran to Barcelona and Alicante. The national airline unveiled the limited-time offer on March 14, aiming to make international travel more accessible while encouraging early bookings before the March 31 deadline.
The new promotion is part of the airline’s broader strategy to stimulate travel demand and expand its range of discounted offers. Air Algérie regularly launches special fares alongside seasonal promotions, including the popular “Otla” program designed for summer travel.
These new discounted tickets apply to four routes connecting two major Algerian cities—Algiers and Oran—with two Spanish destinations: Barcelona and Alicante. The offer adds to the airline’s growing list of promotional destinations, which already includes routes to France, Canada, and China under its monthly deals.
The promotion specifically highlights direct flights to Spain. In a post shared on its official Facebook page, Air Algérie encouraged passengers to plan a getaway with the slogan: “Spain is closer than you think!”
Among the most attractive deals in the Air Algérie Spain promotion is the Algiers–Barcelona route. Travelers can purchase a one-way ticket starting at 16,860 Algerian dinars for the basic fare that includes only cabin luggage.
Under this option, passengers are allowed a single carry-on bag weighing up to 10 kilograms, with maximum dimensions of 55 x 35 x 25 centimeters. For travelers who require additional baggage capacity, a higher fare starting at 21,960 dinars includes one checked bag in addition to the carry-on allowance.
Passengers departing from western Algeria can also benefit from the promotion. Flights on the Oran–Barcelona route start at 19,760 dinars for the carry-on-only option. If a checked bag is required, ticket prices begin at 26,460 dinars for the same route.
Similar fares are offered for flights to Alicante. According to the airline, prices for this Spanish destination are identical whether the flight departs from Algiers or Oran.
Tickets to Alicante start at 19,770 dinars for passengers traveling with carry-on luggage only. Travelers who wish to include checked baggage will find fares starting at 26,470 dinars for a one-way journey.
These promotions are available for a limited booking period. Customers have until March 31 to reserve discounted tickets through Air Algérie’s official website or through its network of partner travel agencies.
At the same time, the airline continues to promote its seasonal “Otla” offer for summer travel. That campaign remains open for bookings until May 31, 2026, covering flights scheduled between June 1 and August 31 during the peak holiday season.
By launching additional discounts alongside its summer promotion, Air Algérie appears to be positioning itself to capture strong demand for leisure travel between Algeria and southern Europe. The airline’s strategy could also help strengthen tourism and travel exchanges between the two Mediterranean countries as the summer season approaches.
