Algeria’s national football team began preparations in Bujumbura with a recovery session after arriving in Burundi on Sunday evening, according to Ennahar Online. The squad faces the hosts on Tuesday in a 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
The players, including Mohamed Amine Amoura, worked in a strength-training room following the journey from Algeria. The session was intended to help them recover from travel before the second Group Nine fixture, the publication reported.
