The National Organization of Algerian Journalists (ONJA) has strongly denounced hostile practices by French lobbies and provocative statements, calling them blatant interference in Algeria's internal affairs.

The ONJA criticized the "arrogant and outdated outlook" of French officials, highlighting the political failures and colonial attitudes that persist in France's diplomatic approach. The organization underscored Algeria's historical struggle for independence, noting its role as a beacon of inspiration for future generations.

In a scathing statement, the ONJA addressed France's internal and external failures, including its waning influence in Africa and its struggle to navigate its political crises. The group condemned France's attempts to target Algeria by interfering in its sovereignty, especially through provocative comments about Algeria's history and current affairs.

The ONJA also reminded France of its colonial crimes, particularly the nuclear tests conducted in Algeria, which continue to have harmful consequences. The organization stressed the need for France to apologize and take responsibility for its actions, emphasizing that crimes against humanity cannot be subject to statutes of limitation.

Praising Algeria’s recent achievements, including its leadership of the UN Security Council and its advocacy for just causes, the ONJA asserted that Algeria’s growing global presence frustrates neo-colonialist agendas. The organization called for unity among Algerians to confront external conspiracies.

The ONJA urged Algerian journalists to actively counter media attacks on the country by exposing conspiracies, promoting national awareness, and defending Algeria’s sovereignty and stability. The organization emphasized its commitment to supporting just causes and fostering a secure and prosperous future for Algeria.

The National Organization of Algerian Journalists reaffirmed its determination to confront external provocations while working to strengthen Algeria’s stability and international standing, urging journalists to play a vital role in defending the nation.
