The National Liberation Front (FLN) has expressed support for President Abdelmadjid Tebboune's reforms aimed at strengthening political, economic, and social structures in Algeria. The party also condemned recent statements from French officials, calling them a violation of Algeria's sovereignty.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the FLN highlighted President Tebboune’s commitment to political openness and consultation as key steps toward building a stronger, more democratic Algeria. The political consultations, set to pave the way for a national dialogue, aim to reinforce Algeria's state of law and justice. FLN Secretary General Abdelkrim Benmbarek emphasized that the reforms will enhance the nation's economic, social, cultural, and security frameworks. The FLN also applauded the president's work on revising the party and association laws, as well as municipal and regional regulations, to improve local governance, in line with Algeria’s 2020 Constitution and its participatory democracy approach.

In contrast, the FLN condemned comments from French President Macron and far-right members of his government, accusing them of meddling in Algeria's domestic affairs and undermining its sovereignty. The party described these remarks as part of a broader campaign to discredit Algeria and its institutions.

The FLN has reiterated its support for President Tebboune’s reforms while firmly rejecting foreign interference in Algeria’s political processes.
