On Thursday in Algiers, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, presided over a ceremony at which nine companies were honored with the President of the Republic's Best Exporter Award for 2023, in recognition of their efforts and contribution to the diversification and development of Algerian non-hydrocarbon exports.
The ceremony took place at the Centre International de Conférences (CIC) Abdelatif-Rahal in Algiers, in the presence of high-ranking state officials, members of the government, representatives of trade associations, and heads of public and private companies.
Tosyali Algérie, which specializes in metallurgy, took the prize in the industrial products exporters category, while Intradis Algeria won in the agricultural products exporters category.
In the services exporters category, the Clinica group took the prize.
Algerian Qatari Steel (AQS) won in the category of exporters to Africa.
The President of the Republic also awarded the prize for the youngest exporter to Noureddine Messali, director of Alteo Energie, a company specializing in administrative services and corporate marketing.
The prize for the best female exporter went to Fatima Menaa, owner of Tolga El Baraka, a company specializing in the production of packaging products mainly for the agri-food industry.
Honorary certificates were also awarded to Hikma Pharma Algérie, Al Ourdjouana Dattes, and Huileries Ouzellaguen.
The President's Prize for the Best Exporter consists of a commemorative shield and a certificate of merit awarded each year to the best exporter representing the following categories: exporters of industrial and pharmaceutical products, exporters of agricultural products, exporters of services, exporters to the African continent, the youngest exporter, and women exporters, according to the presidential decree establishing the Prize.
