The General Directorate of National Security has announced an external competition to recruit male and female police officers for 2025. The process will be based on a series of tests.
In its official statement, the Directorate outlined the eligibility criteria and required documentation for applications. Candidates must hold Algerian nationality, enjoy full national and civil rights, and possess a clean criminal record free from any remarks incompatible with national security work. Male candidates must also fulfill national service obligations or be exempt for non-medical reasons.
Eligibility Requirements:
Nationality: Original Algerian citizenship.
Height: Minimum 1.70 meters for males and 1.65 meters for females.
Age: Between 19 and 25 years as of the competition date.
Education: Completion of secondary school education.

Applicants must submit the following:
An information card (available on the Directorate's website).
A written application.
Two height measurement certificates issued by the Scientific and Technical Police Services with official signatures and stamps.
A copy of the National Identity Card.
A residence certificate (recently issued).
A copy of the secondary school certificate.
Two recent photographs.
